Design and Display
The Umidigi Power 5s has a 3D unibody design with an anti-fingerprint texture surface. The logo and wording from Power 5’s “Beyond Dreams” may be found on the back.
On the back, there’s a black rectangular camera module with three vertically aligned cameras to the left. A dewdrop cutout at the front houses the front camera.
The 6.53-inch in-cell display of the Umidigi Power 5s features a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. With a 20:9 aspect ratio, the display enables dark mode. This is suitable for watching movies or surfing the internet.
The Cameras
The camera arrangement of the Umidigi Power 5s is the same as on the A11 and Power 5. A triple camera system with a 16-megapixel ultrawide primary camera with an aperture of f/2.0, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view is available on the back.
Dual-LED flash is available on the back camera. For selfies and Face Unlock, you get an AI-enhanced 8 megapixel camera.
Hardware and Software
The Umidigi Power 5S has the same Unisoc T310 (12nm) Quad-core chipset as the Power 5, which has an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor. The chipset features a dual-cluster design with a 2.0GHz Cortex-A75 CPU and a 1.8GHz tri-core Cortex-A55 processor.
This Umidigi phone has 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. A dedicated microSD slot with support for up to 256GB of additional storage through a memory card can be used to expand the built-in capacity.
The Umidigi Power series is famed for its long battery life, and the 5S is no exception, with Umidigi claiming up to 55 hours of talk time. This is more than two days of continuous phone use. The large 6150 mAh battery makes this feasible.
The Umidigi Power 5S comes pre-installed with Stock Android 11.

The Umidigi Power 5s costs roughly $109.99 on major internet retailers like AliExpress. In Nigeria, the Power 5s costs 55,000 Naira, 650 GHC in Ghana, and 13,500 KSH in Kenya.
Leading retail stores like AliExpress and Jumia currently sell this smartphone. It was first released in October of 2021.
