Infinix Hot 8: Review
Hardware
Infinix Hot 8 comes in two variant: the 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM storage has a MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 chipset (Quad-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor) and the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM storage will use the MediaTek MT6762 (Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 processor) instead. Hot 8 weighs just 179g, with 8.7mm thickness.
Battery
This appears to be one of the selling points of this phone, I boast of a Non-removable Li-Po 5000mAH, bragging to last 4 days of continuous use. I have not tested this out yet though.
You would not have to worry about the long time spent on charging enormous batteries such as a 5000mAh as it comes with a feature called Rapid Smartphone Recharge. You only spend 3 hours charging to full capacity with a 2A fast charge option.
Display and Design
The phone adopts the water-drop design for its display of 6.6 inches wide display. The resolution could be better, but still an impressive 720p HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) with a screen to body ratio of 20:9.
Camera
Multiple cameras on smartphones are a common feature of most smartphones today, and Infinix Hot 8 adopted the same design for its camera. It has a 13MP triple back camera with quad-LED flash that helps capture more details for the distance and depth. This is coupled with a new AI software technology that enhances the overall beauty of the resultant images. It also comes with an 8MP front camera for your selfie.
